At Bristol Childcare we try to grow as much fruit and veg as we can, so that staff and children can enjoy organic, local, fresh produce. This is last week’s harvest, which included potatoes, beetroots, runner beans, peas, courgettes, tomatoes and aubergines!
The children, parents and staff from Mornington House enjoyed a Teddy Bear’s Picnic on the Downs on 18th July. All enjoyed a lovely picnic tea prepared by cook Lee-Ann, and played fun games with their teddies and the parachute. Everyone walked there and back, and enjoyed a cooling ice lolly on our return to nursery.
