About The Court House

The largest of the three nurseries, The Court House maintains a homely feel by dividing the nursery into units: the Babyroom (9 places); the Toddler Room (6 places) and the over-twos (30 places). This enables children to thrive within an environment focused on their age and developmental needs.

The Court House Map We open for breakfast at 7.30am and close at 6pm with days planned around a routine. This combines the advantage of structure with the flexibility and excitement of surprises.

Children learn through play. At The Court House activities are structured around the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage. Three to five year olds, are led by two qualified teachers who are able to ensure each child’s education needs are met. There are French Lessons on Thursday morning; music and dance sessions with Stretch ‘n Gro and a safe, secluded garden which the children enjoy using as often as the weather allows. Meals are freshly prepared by a cook who enjoys creating varied and healthy menus.

With us you don’t have to do fixed sessions. Subject to availability your child can attend nursery at times to suit you. Fees are calculated on a sliding scale so the more hours you do the less we charge per hour. Why not come and visit to see what The Court House has to offer you? Jenny, our manager, or Maria, our Babyroom manager, are looking forward to hearing from you.
