We are delighted to announce that we have been named as Aspiration Training’s Childcare Employer of the Year 2021!

Aspiration Training state: The theme for 2021 was ‘Improving people’s lives through education’. 2021 has been a difficult year for many of us and these awards give us an amazing opportunity to offer individuals and organisations the chance to be recognised and rewarded for their hard work, commitment and success within training and development.
Our employer awards celebrate the relationship that Aspiration Training has with both small and large employers across both England and Wales. Showcasing and celebrating the achievements of those who have exceeded expectations and shown an understanding of, and commitment to, the improvement of skills development for the economy and their sectors.”

Saffia Bullock, Managing Director, says: “This award is for our whole team. Katie, Justine and Diane, our nursery managers who have the huge job of mentoring the apprentices, and working alongside Jo (the trainer from Aspiration) to support and encourage when needed. They also have the near impossible job of organising the weekly rota to ensure the apprentices have time out of the rooms when they need it for workshops and study while ensuring we stay in ratio and everyone can have a lunch break – not an easy task!
Our Head Office staff support with the complicated administration of apprenticeships and the staff who work in the rooms support our apprentices by answering their questions and gently teaching and role modelling every day, alongside coping with the extra bit of stress when the apprentices has to go and take part in a workshop.
We truly believe in the benefit of apprenticeships in developing the workforce, but everyone in the team has to commit to that, and I’d like to thank our team for that support.
I’d also like to thank Aspiration Training. We work with some fantastic people at Aspiration – from Fran who first got us started to Jo who mentors all our apprentices now. We really value the working relationships we have with the Aspiration team and thank you to Jo and Aspiration for the honour of being recognised.”
