Gardens

You are here: Home / Gardens

All our nurseries have secluded gardens where the children can enjoy outdoor play. There are bikes, balls, hoops, tactile carvings, climbing frames, slides and play houses as well as trees and flowers to care for. However, our gardens aren’t just about play; our teachers take lessons outside using treasure hunts and number games to make learning fun and innovative as part of our outdoor classroom programme. Children who attend our nurseries also take part in growing vegetables and flowers to further their understanding of how food is produced and how plants grow.

We believe in the importance of children having fresh air and the freedom of play outdoors every day, as well as the value of experiencing the joy of rain, snow and wind, so we will go outside whatever the weather! To help with this we ask that children always have appropriate outdoors clothes at Nursery.
