Gardens

You are here: Home / Gardens

All our nurseries have secluded gardens where the children can enjoy outdoor play year-round. There are bikes, balls, hoops, sand pits, climbing frames, slides, mud kitchens and play houses as well as trees and flowers to care for. As part of our Planning in the Moment pedagogy, children will be learning through their play and the staff ensure that there are a wide range of varying activities and resources for the children to explore outside. Children who attend our nurseries also take part in growing vegetables and flowers to further their understanding of how food is produced and how plants grow.

We believe in the importance of children having fresh air and the freedom of play outdoors every day, as well as the value of experiencing the joy of rain, snow and wind, so we will go outside whatever the weather! To help with this we ask that children always have appropriate outdoor clothes at nursery.
