At Mornington House, we have been looking at the compost bin and the changes that had occurred since we started filling the bin.
The children raked over the contents and we discussed the mini beasts we could see, and the job they were doing to break down the food and waste. One child said, “It will help the plants grow” when it is ready. They also said it smelled bad!
