We celebrated the end of an era this week in a different way this year as our children are about to ‘fly the nest’ to start their next adventure at ‘big’ school. We chose the theme ‘carnivals’ to coincide with our chosen charity St Peters Hospice. The children in pre-school and RPs enjoyed sharing this special time together, and the weather was on our side!
We enjoyed a range of carnival games such as Lucky Dip, Hook and Duck, Play Pong, Pin the Tail on the Elephant and Hoopla. We also had our very own catwalk for us all to show off our colourful outfits.
Later we were joined by the parents who shared in the celebration of their presentation and the sharing of gifts, scrolls and the class photo of 2016.
Our children preformed their very own song, written by the team that reflected their journey throughout nursery. We also shared the ‘Hakka’!
