Court House Palaeontologists

The children have shown an interest in dinosaurs. So, we decided we wanted to make our own dinosaur bones using salt dough. We made the salt dough together; we spoke about the instructions how to make salt dough what we need and the amount we needed. We took it in turns to stir the dough. Once it was in dough form, we all had our own dough to make our bones. We made faces, leg bones, lots of eyes, teeth and even dinosaur eggs.

Once the bones were ready to go, Paintbrushes and magnifying glasses were used to discover the bones. We made our own dinosaur and have decided to call it Preschoolasaurus. We have found sharp teeth, noses, leg bones, arm bones and even dinosaur eggs.
