Mud, Glorious Mud!

Talia, who was interested in mud, decided to paint her body and squelch through the mud with her feet. She then decided to make hand and footprints on the path with the mud.

To extend her learning, the practitioner provided a large roll of paper so she could see her muddy footprints.

To continue this activity in the afternoon we provided paint with a large white sheet, which again the girls thought it was more fun to use their hands and feet than the printing equipment that was provided!

Lots of language was involved in this activity and eventually Talia decided this was such fun that she raised her hands to see who she could touch with her brown, slimy, sticky hands!!
