Sally read the story to the children lots of times so that they could really understand about the characters before they began acting. The children put on a wonderful performance for their parents and sang some traditional songs and also new songs they had learned.
They made jam tarts for all to enjoy after the event and Dee, our cook, made lots of mince pies too!
