They have hatched!!

For a few weeks the children have been taking care of the caterpillars. They have watched them through the cycle of life.

Yesterday was a very special day… the day we released our butterflies. We have been watching them very closely over the past weeks from when they arrived as tiny little caterpillars to how they have transformed into beautiful butterflies.

In the afternoon we gathered in the garden to talk about the life cycle and say goodbye to our butterflies as they go on to start their new journey!
