Transport day in the Twos room

The children at The Priory have been loving talking about buses and creating trains using the chairs in our room. We had the opportunity to go on a trip, so it was the perfect time to explore all forms of transport available to us.

We started off the day with our first mode of transport, our legs, with a walk to the train station. As we got to the station, we watched as all the different trains went past, and we spoke lots about how fast they went. We then headed on our second mode of transport for the day, the train.

After our train journey, we got on our third mode of transport, the bus. This took us to the harbourside where we reached the most exciting part of the trip. We were very lucky that we were able to do a boat trip around the harbour. The children were well behaved and even got the chance to sit outside and watch as we made our way along the water.

It was so good to see how excited the children got when we approached each mode of transport and the conversations that we had along the way were amazing.
