Trip to Lawrence Weston Community Farm

Our Twos Room and Preschool at Mornington House had such an exciting morning!  We went to Lawrence Weston Community Farm, which is a community-managed project run by volunteers. We all walked to the bus stop and had to patiently wait for the bus. We sang songs, pointed out the sights, and talked about what we would do on our 20-minute bus journey there.

After a quick snack, we started our exploring, checking out the goats. There were also guinea pigs, ducks, chickens, two big pigs, sheep, and we loved saying hello to the lambs! We were able to feed the goats, they tickled our hands! Some of us went to play in the soft play area before heading to the bus stop for our journey back to the nursery.
