The Court House had so much fun with Elise from Woodland Makery! Elise taught us lots of new, fun things about spring and the environment. We had four different stations. Outside we went on a bug hunt to see what bugs and insects we have in our garden and we were making leaf prints using nettle leaves and fabric. Inside we were making our own bugs from wood and cutting up vegetables and nettles to make nettle soup, which we all tried when it was cooked! Elise taught us about the safety of using some of the tools, especially hammers, saws and knives. The children all listened very attentively and we all had lots of fun.
