As December arrives, we’re excited to welcome Christmas into our preschool and start the joyful countdown to Christmas! We’ve prepared two special Advent calendars to make this season even more magical: a chocolate Advent calendar and a Christmas book Advent calendar. Each day, a lucky child will be randomly chosen from our Christmas jar, which contains everyone’s name. The chosen child will open a gift number to discover that day’s Christmas story, which we’ll share during circle time. They will also be able to take a yummy chocolate home to enjoy. We introduced the Christmas book Advent calendar last year. Since it worked well alongside our chocolate calendar, we’ve decided to continue it this year as a cherished part of our holiday countdown, helping children to enjoy stories.
