Bristol Museum

A few weeks ago Elliott’s mummy, Alex, came into The Court House to talk to us about Bristol Museum.

She brought in objects and photos of her four favourite things you can find at the museum, these were; Doris the dinosaur (which can be found hanging above the canteen), a unicorn (which if you look very closely can be found in the Noah’s Ark painting), a dodo (which no one knows the colour of) Alex also very kindly printed off a picture of a dodo so the children could colour it in creating their own dodo, and finally a gorilla (Alfred used to be at Bristol Zoo and when it snowed he would throw snowballs at the visitors. A few years ago Alfred was stolen from the museum and was found a few days later in a doctor’s surgery).

Thank you so much Alex for coming in to talk to the preschool children they really enjoyed it.

To extend the children’s learning, on Wednesday, pre-school are visiting Bristol Museum. They are excited to learn more about what Elliott’s mummy taught them and to see what they can discover!
