Dahlicious Dress up day

The children were thoroughly immersed in this day and Sally and Rachelle planned lots of exciting activities:

BFG – they made dream jars and dream catchers

James & the Giant Peach – made a huge peach and decorated it

The Twits – made beards like Mr Twit

Charlie & the Chocolate Factory – made some sweets

The children dressed up as Fantastic Mr Fox, the BFG, Matilda, Charlie Bucket and the Enormous Crocodile.  Sally brought her own books from home and read extracts to the children. Rachelle sang songs from the film James & the Giant Peach and read poems from the Witches.

It was a very fun and successful day, raising over £40 for Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity – which supports children with serious illnesses and their families.
