To celebrate National Marine Week and all things under the sea, the Court House babyroom team took the babies to the aquarium to explore the environment of our aquatic friends!

The babies had the most wonderful time walking around the tunnels and seeing all the tanks full of different kinds of fish and having this sensory experience. We saw many different species of lobsters and sea mammals. We talked about all the different colours we could see and about the difference in sizes of the fish as well as talking about the different lights we could see and the sounds we could hear such as the water splashing around as the fish were eating. We even showed the babies the noises fish make and they made these noises all the way back to nursery on the bus, laughing to each other. It was a wonderful outing which everyone enjoyed.
