Even though it’s been a bit windy and chilly, it hasn’t stop us from having a great time at The Priory. As daffodils have been blooming all around us and the children have noticed this in the fields and parks, a member of staff brought in some daffodils that haven’t bloomed yet, and we printed some pictures to help explain it to the children. We also talked about how seeing daffodils is a lovely sign of spring since they’re classic spring flowers.
To make learning even more fun, we took some paint outside, and soon some children eagerly jumped in to start painting. There was also a lovely conversation as they debated who painted the most, adding to the joyful atmosphere.
