Train ride

The children in the Twos Room at Mornington House have recently been showing an interest in vehicles, so we walked to Clifton Down station and caught the train to Temple Meads. We waved goodbye to our train and went outside where we saw taxis, buses, cars and push bikes. We then walked to a big motorbike shop nearby and the kind man there let us try on helmets and gloves and look at all the shiny new mopeds and motorbikes. We talked about why riders need to wear helmets, gloves and safety clothes. Then we had a big drink of water and caught the train back to nursery. We had the best time!
