The Preschool children at Mornington House have planted some sunflower and mixed salad leaf seeds. One of the children had the idea that they should make a scarecrow to stop the birds and squirrels from taking the seeds. It was such a great project, thinking about the design and what tools we would need. It was challenging finding the right fixings in the toolbox, but the children had some really good ideas and worked together.
