To celebrate World Book Day, the Court House was transformed into a Gruffalo world!
This is what one parent had to say:
“E and I would like to say a big thank you to all the staff at the Court House for making World Book Day such an adventure. E was so excited to dress up as a Gruffalo Mouse and it has made the story come alive for her. When I dropped her off she went silent as we walked through the Gruffalo woods – so impressive and effective!! When I picked her up after her day at nursery she said’ ‘I had such a fun day at nursery!’ and then told me she had eaten snake jelly and made crumbly Gruffalo cake. She was very proud of the mask she made of an owl and was desperate to show me. She also enjoyed singing me the story which she knows off by heart and sings with a big smile. So thanks again to everyone for all your efforts.”
