Policy 11: Unauthorised Absence

UNAUTHORISED ABSENCE

Any absence which does not comply with the provisions of your contract of employment relating to holidays or sickness or which has not been expressly authorised by the Company in advance shall be regarded as an unauthorised absence and will result in disciplinary action being taken.

Employees who deliberately fail to attend work without proper excuse or in breach of management instructions will be committing gross misconduct which could result in dismissal without notice or payment in lieu.
