This relates to all written communication including letters, emails and correspondence sent through Connect Childcare (ParentZone).
Please also refer to the Internet and Email Policy (9) in this Handbook.
All written correspondence must be written in accordance with best practice and high standards of written communication. The content and language must be consistent with best Company practice. Correspondence should be professional, appropriate and in accordance with Company policies where necessary – eg the Safeguarding Policy, Partnership with Parents Policy.
Even when sending brief “moments” through ParentZone you must be mindful of professional language and grammar.
Observations will be checked by the nursery manager or Curriculum Lead.
Developmental documents such as the Planning and Sequencing document and Progress Check at Two must be completed neatly using professional language.
Letters must be on Company headed paper, written neatly with correct use of language and grammar. Letters should be PDF’d if emailed.
Any formal letters must only be sent with the authorisation of the nursery manager or Managing Director.
Any communication which directly or indirectly commits the Company to financial expenditure, potential loss or has any other financial implication shall be authorised by the Finance Manager.
